My name is Meg Eastwood and I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago. My work exists as collage, painting, and film photography. It often examines notions of cultural identity through the specificity of physical and temporal location. I am interested in queerness as an ancestry, utilizing archived materials and historical accounts of gender and sexual variance to inform modern conceptions of queer identities.

Originally from Des Moines, IA, I moved to Chicago in 2020 to pursue my BFA at University of Illinois-Chicago, which I graduated with in 2023. I currently live in southwest Chicago.
