Meg Eastwood is a multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago. Their work examines notions of identity, rooting their work in queerness as seen through an ancestral lens. They utilize archived materials and historical accounts of gender and sexual variance to inform modern conceptions of LGBT identities. Their work is made with paint, collage, reclaimed furniture, and film.

Originally from Des Moines, IA, they moved to Chicago in 2020 to pursue their BFA at University of Illinois-Chicago, which they graduated with in 2023. Since 2019, they have worked at Girls Rock! Des Moines, an arts-based youth empowerment nonprofit for young women and trans youth.
